We are so excited for
this year!
Get ready to kick off the 2024-25 season as we rally behind our athletic teams with victory in mind! A big shoutout from the Calabasas Cheerleaders to our awesome family, friends, fans, and sponsors for backing us all the way. Can't wait to see everyone bring the Coyote spirit and cheer alongside us on game day and at our other school and community events!
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote school spirit and pride in our Coyote CommUNITY!
We are proud to be the most visible school ambassadors and we strive to meet our own high expectations as cheerleaders.
About US
There is no “off-season” in cheer!
We are busy in the fall with sideline football, in the winter with sideline basketball, and in the spring our stunt team competes in the CIF Marmonte League!
CHS Cheer does all that AND performs at all pep rallies as well as various other school functions. And then we strive to do even more by creating opportunities for collaboration to work with and support our fellow CHS programs.

As a cheer program, our goal is to promote school spirit and be the best ambassadors we can to show our Coyote pride.
We are proud to partner with our
Calabasas Coyote CommUNITY counterparts.
Here are some examples of what we have
been busy with recently:
- We’ve created a collaborative Digital Game Day Program working with our football team and marching band to share with our fans and community
- Partnered with the Coyote Track team to help support their meets and operate the Snack Shack
- Initiated the Calabasas Athletics Pasta Dinner-an event to not only FUNdraise, but the goal is to make this an annual outing to provide an opportunity for families to mingle and have dinner before the game
- Hosted an extra Coyote Pup Friday Night Out as another opportunity to build relationships with K-5th graders who look to the cheerleaders as role models.
- We hope to engage with Middle Schoolers in our community who would like an opportunity to work with the cheerleaders
- We have so much more planned!

Coach K is kicking off her 5th year as head coach at CHS. Under her leadership, the cheer team cheers and performs at football and basketball games, all pep rallies and a variety of other school functions. But they don’t just cheer, they compete as well! The CHS stunt team made its CIF debut in spring 2022, and the CHS competition cheer team won silver at the JAMZ High School Nationals in Las Vegas in 2023.
Coach K has worked to strike a balance at letting our student athletes become cheerLEADERS as they learn to be independent and excel.
Coach Carter is back this season! He originally joined the CHS cheer staff in 2018 and coached for 1 years and then the pandemic hit. He spent the pandemic in AZ, but now is back in SoCal to work with the cheer team. Coach Carter has 25+ years experience in cheer both on the competitive and coaching sides combined.
Coach Jules joined the coaching staff half-way through last season, and this is her first football season with us. She has an amazing cheer background and competed for a Level 6 All Star cheer team before turning her sights on coaching. Her enthusiasm for coaching shows with her commitment to team bonding activities.

The Calabasas Coyote Stunt Team has arrived onto the scene in this thrilling head-to-head sport! It's a rising star among women’s sports in high schools and colleges, with DI, DII, and DIII NCAA institutions offering scholarships. This time the cheerleaders are the ones competing and are on the sideline no more!

Tryouts
Interested in trying out for cheer or pom?
Check out our tryout info packet to see what TUMBLING and skills are recommended as well as expectations and responsibilities with time and financial commitment.
Cheer is a year-round sport. Tryouts are held in the Spring of the prior school year. Winter tryouts are available for the stunt team.

Every year we dedicate one game where we share the football sideline with our beloved pups.
We Have clinics where our pups get to learn a cheer, work on tumbling, and Stunt.
for ages K-5th Grade.
